The White Mountain Flute Conservatory has two exciting programs.
The first, new for 2008, consists of a weekend of classes and flute
activities for adult students.
The second is a week for serious High School Flute Students. This is a
class where they can expand their horizons by learning new repertoire; by
preparing for All- State, District, and College Entrance Auditions; by
participating in public concerts; and by trying out new instruments in the
flute family --all in a safe, warm and nurturing environment in the
wonderful and spectacular setting of the beautiful White Mountains of New
Hampshire.
All classes and performances will be held in the breathtaking setting of
the Highland Center
of the Appalachian Mountain Club – where views of famed Mount
Washington can be seen from everywhere. Recreational
activities abound in the nearby White Mountains
National Forest and on site--- and
world renowned resorts—such as the famous Bretton
Woods “Mount Washington Hotel” and the nearby resort towns of Littleton and Bethlehem
with their quaint shops and wonderful restaurants--- are close by. Less
than three hours from Boston by car and two
hours from the Manchester, New
Hampshire airport, the Highland Center
is readily accessible from major transportation hubs. Come join us for a
